Here is a picture of my new sword! It as given to me by my martial arts
teachers so it means a lot. This is a picture of it at Christmas Eve sunset.
I was amazed how fast I began to identify with it, and how naturally it
found a place in my room.
Gifts really mean a lot this time of year. I can't wait to give the ones
I care for gifts tomorrow!
I like how the sword looks like it is made of light in that photograph, and how the Kanji are written by the colors in the background. This set of pictures really captures the warrior's spirit, in my opinion. There is the sword, in all its beauty, and with it, a spiritual existence; an implied sunset visible only off of the sword itself, and the personalized shrine dedicated to it's proper use.
