I've been trying to take a picture of this bird for a very long time. It always flew away as soon as I went outside. For somehow today it did not!

Frosty Herring
I've been trying to take a picture of this bird for a very long time. It always flew away as soon as I went outside. For somehow today it did not!

Coming Soon: Adventures in Japan!
Starting this weekend I'll be posting photo's and commentary outlining the adventure's my brother and I had in Japan earlier this month. It was truly a life changing experience, and I can't wait to go back through all the pictures and remember all the good times.
For now here is the very first picture I took while I was there, only to have 1266 more to follow.
This is the view from our very first hotel room. We stayed in Asakusa the first night, just outside was this brightly colored amusement park. In the background you can see a temple that has been standing for a thousand years. Despite being in the hotel room, the adventures didn't stop there. Although I was jet lagged and tired from the 24 hours of travel, I ended up frolicking around with my brother until 1 o'clock. It was a good day!

Little did I know that as I was ensconced in my viewfinder another storm was creeping up behind me. Rain started falling hard, and my run back to the house was as seizure inducing as a rave concert. I'm not sure what my tripod is made out of, but its fairly metallic...
